What is your return policy?

At Attempted Murder Yarn Co., we want you to love your yarn. We will happily refund the purchase price of your yarn within 30 days of purchase due to any manufacturing defects. Manufacturing defects include under-spun/weak areas in the yarn, two or more knots (per skein), or other quality concerns with your yarn. We cannot accept returns/refunds due to differences in dye lot or tangling due to improper winding. If you have any concerns with your yarn, please email us at support@attemptedmurderyarn.com.

Do you offer international shipping?

At this time, we do not offer international shipping but are hoping to extend our shipping to include international shipping soon!

Where do your yarn bases come from?

At Attempted Murder Yarn Co., we are committed to ethical sourcing and animal welfare. Our yarn is proudly mulesing-free, sourced from Peru, where we ensure that all our fibers come from happy, healthy sheep. By choosing our yarn, you are supporting humane practices and sustainable farming, all while enjoying the highest quality fibers for your projects.

How do I care for my hand-dyed yarn?

To take care of your hand-dyed yarn, wash it gently in cold water using a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid wringing or twisting the yarn; just squeeze out the excess water and lay it flat to dry. Our yarn goes through a proper dye-setting process, but some colors might still bleed a bit during the first wash—don’t panic, this is totally normal. You can add a splash of white vinegar to the rinse water to help set the dye. Keep your yarn stored in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight to keep those colors looking vibrant.

What is your processing time for orders?

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2-5 business days.

What does "dyed to order" mean?

Dyed to Order means exactly that! The order is dyed just for you. This is a great option when you have a larger project and want to make sure all skeins are of the same dye lot.

Do you offer custom colorways?

I do! If you have a specific colorway in mind but don’t see it in our shop, send us an email at emily@attemptedmurderyarn.com.

Do you offer any discounts or promotions?

We periodically offer new discounts and promotions. Join our mailing list to be notified of new promotions.

Do you have a physical store?

We do not currently have a brick and mortar store of our own, however a selection of our yarn can be found at The Cookie Cottage in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

When will my order ship?

We ship orders Monday - Friday. An email will be sent when your order has shipped.

How often do you restock?

Colorways are usually restocked on weekends.
